Rooms and Suites
We currently have three rooms available for guests:
The Americana (bathroom “en suite”)
The Oak View (bathroom “en suite”)
The Woodlands Family Suite (private bathroom at foot of stairs)
Each room is $150.00 for two people, $25.00 for each additional adult, and $15.00 for each child 12 and under.
We are a Family, Military, and Ministry based business.
Event Center
The Wooden Nickel Event Center is also available for business events like corporate retreats and multi-media presentations. It’s also ideal for parties, family reunions, weddings, rehearsal dinners, and receptions. You can even hold indoor basketball or volleyball games in it!
There are three options for renting our Event Center:
Option 1: $800/day for larger events
Option 2: $80/hour for events with 50 or fewer people
Option 3: A per-person fee determined at time of booking
The Event Center building is 40 feet wide by 80 feet long (3200 square feet). Including the upstairs loft area, the Event Center can accommodate up to 200 people.

NOTE: Due to zoning restrictions and our insurance coverage, no alcohol is allowed anywhere on the Scenic Valley premises. Any violation of this policy will result in additional credit card charges.
Cancellation Policy:
Please note: A minimum length of stay may be required over weekends, holidays, K.S.U. Football games, K-State Graduation, and special events. Also, a $25.00 processing fee per room per night at the Inn, or the Event Center is charged for cancellations for ANY REASON.
A Two Week Cancellation Notice is necessary, for individual suites, a 30 day Cancellation Notice is required for multiple suites, multiple nights. Your reservation deposit of 25% to hold the suites is non-refundable. If we are unable to fill the vacancy left by your cancellation, you will be responsible for the balance of your Reservation. We give you priority when a reservation is made and have probably turned away business to keep your suite(s) or the Event Center and Meadow reserved for you.
Your credit card will be automatically charged if cancellation notice is not received via phone. Since we are a small Inn, we appreciate your understanding of this policy. CHECK-IN TIME IS FIRM ***4:30 p.m. No Earlier! Check out is 10:30 a.m.
